Your first race meeting

Buying tickets, children's prices, parking, food, the paddock and what's allowed at a UK circuit, from Brands Hatch's own visitor rules, plus this weekend's meetings.

The short answer

At MSV’s five circuits (Brands Hatch, Donington Park, Snetterton, Oulton Park, Cadwell Park) you can pay on the gate at every race meeting, park free, bring a picnic and walk the support paddock. Under-13s get in free. The few advance-only meetings are marked on the event page.

What to expect at the circuit

These are Brands Hatch’s own visitor rules, from its race event FAQs (checked 29 September 2026). MotorSport Vision runs Brands Hatch, Donington Park, Snetterton, Oulton Park and Cadwell Park; other circuits set their own rules, so check the event page.

Tickets
You can buy on the gate at all MSV race meetings, by cash or card. For the vast majority there is no limit on gate tickets; the few advance-only or capacity-limited events are marked on the event page.
Children
Under-13s get in free. 13 to 15-year-olds pay a discounted price. All under-16s must be with an adult.
Parking
Free in all public car parks, except the Southbank infield at larger events, which is charged per car.
Food and drink
Bring your own, including alcohol. The circuit restaurants are open on race weekends too.
The paddock
The support race paddock is always open to the public. At major meetings the area behind the pit garages is closed, but there are usually scheduled pit walks and autograph sessions.
Not allowed
Dogs and other animals (guide and assistance dogs excepted), drones, and bicycles, e-bikes or scooters in spectator areas. Small open-fronted gazebos are fine.
Access
Blue Badge parking near the Paddock Hill Grandstand, a wheelchair viewing area there free for the wheelchair user and one carer, and carers may get free admission if arranged in advance.

Club meeting or big championship?

Club meetings make an easy first day out, and at MSV circuits the support paddock is open to walk round. The calendar lists every UK round with the official ticket or info link; AllRace never sells tickets. For a headline weekend, see the BTCC or BSB pages for the timetable.

What to bring

Layers and waterproofs (you are outside all day), ear defenders for children, cash as well as a card, and a charged phone. Keep live timing open to follow the race order from anywhere on the circuit.

Can I buy race tickets on the day?
