The short answer

UK motorsport covers 14 disciplines. On circuits: circuit racing, karting, motorcycle racing, historic racing and drag racing. Off them: rallying, rallycross, hillclimbs and sprints, drifting, oval and stock car racing, autograss, motocross, enduro and trials. Cars are governed by Motorsport UK; bikes mostly by the ACU; oval racing and autograss by their own bodies.
